Warehouse Worker/Temporary Cover Driver Warehouse Worker/Temporary Cover Drivers work inside as a warehouse worker and when needed, they drive our familiar brown trucks, bringing packages great and small to our customers. They're a friendly, physically active crew who enjoy being outdoors, fast-paced work, and being behind the wheel! While functioning as a temporary cover driver, also known as TCD, you will be required to: Work 8 10 hours each day (Monday through Friday) or (Tuesday Saturday) Have excellent customer contact and driving skills While functioning as a warehouse worker you will be required to: Typically work 3 - 5 hours each day (Monday through Friday) or (Tuesday-Saturday) Be required to work your assigned shift (based on operational needs) To make it through a busy shift either loading/unloading boxes or delivering boxes of all shapes and sizes to homes and businesses in your community and beyond, you will need: The ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Stamina this is a workout like no other! Valid driver's licenseno CDL required (Type varies by State) Pass the DOT physical Excellent customer contact and driving skills Legal right to work in the U.S. Temporary cover drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform What's in it for you?
