Warehouse Operator The Warehouse Operator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of materials within the facility. This position requires strict adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures, with responsibilities spanning from product reception to order preparation. The role involves regular communication with supervisors and coworkers, and supports the overall functionality of warehouse operations. Physical activity and attention to detail are essential components of this position. Primary responsibilities include: Following all work instructions and safety rules without exception Carrying out internal product transfers using FIFO methodology Taking raw material samples for Quality Control when requested Storing items properly and rotating stock according to procedures Notifying supervisor of any non-conforming products received Loading and unloading trucks, containers, and road tankers (bulk and packed) Inspecting trucks/containers/road tankers to ensure product integrity Preparing orders accurately and placing them in the delivery area Maintaining up-to-date paperwork, ensuring all documents are signed and dated Keeping the working area clean and disposing of used containers appropriately Maintaining warehouse equipment in clean, working condition and reporting defects Communicating and cooperating with supervisor, coworkers, and other departments Completing daily forklift checklist Performing other duties as requested by the Supervisor Minimum requirements include: High school degree Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work under limited supervision Ability to learn and use MS Office applications (e.g., Word and Excel) Familiarity with PRISM or ERP environments Preferred requirements include: 1 year of experience in a similar environment and position Ability to operate a forklift Knowledge of inventory control procedures Compatibility with hiring of young workers Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
