Job Summary
Our fast-paced and growing company is looking for an organized Warehouse Team Lead to join our team. The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and providing guidance to warehouse technicians. This role ensures efficient, accurate, and timely handling of materials and products, supporting safety, quality, and productivity standards. The Team Leader acts as a key point of contact between warehouse staff and management.
Essential Duties
Lead and coordinate the activities of warehouse technicians during assigned shifts. Ensure proper receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of materials. Monitor workflow to meet daily and weekly production goals. Assist in training new and existing employees on procedures and safety guidelines. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures. Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and audits. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed. Identify and report any process inefficiencies or safety concerns to supervisors. Support a clean and organized warehouse environment. Act as a liaison between employees and management, providing feedback and promoting team cohesion. Requirements Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor Good PC Skills, Specially MS Excel an in ERP (NETSUITE) Excellent communication and leadership skills Decision-making skills Conditions of Employment Must pass background check, drug test, E-Verify and I-9 verification Must be able to work 12 hour shifts Physical Tasks Reference & Minimal Requirements (Physical demands during a typical workday and frequency): Prolonged periods of standing while operating a standup forklift Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds Must be able to dismount parked forklift and conduct work utilizing pallet jack and other necessary tools to complete assigned tasks Equipment /Tools/ Work Aids Warehouse equipment such as tools, machinery, forklift, hand-pallet, etc. for operational functions Environmental Factors - Safety is First!
