As a Shipping And Receiving Specialist at JLL, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations by coordinating the flow of materials, equipment, and samples throughout our facility. You'll ensure proper handling of goods including 55-gallon drums, maintain accurate documentation, and operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently. This position combines hands-on warehouse activities with administrative responsibilities, contributing to our organization's seamless supply chain operations and commitment to excellence.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Coordinate receiving and distribution of incoming materials, equipment, and samples, including handling 55-gallon drums
  • Load/unload trucks, manage packages, stock shelves, and transport materials throughout the facility
  • Prepare shipments according to regulations and complete all necessary documentation and recordkeeping
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to safely transport goods
  • Maintain facilities and equipment in a safe, clean, and organized manner
  • Perform clerical duties including posting records and preparing reports
  • Adapt to changing priorities to meet workflow demands and customer needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in shipping, receiving, and transportation logistics
  • Valid driver's license
  • Physical ability to handle cartons and drums, push carts, and work in various environments including outdoors
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to policies/procedures
  • Strong multitasking skills with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with computers and related shipping/inventory systems
  • Good communication skills and ability to function effectively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Dangerous Goods certification or training
  • Forklift operation experience and certification
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience
  • Inventory management experience
  • Familiarity with transportation regulations and documentation requirements
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to accommodate overtime when required

Location: Onsite Annandale, NJ

Estimated total compensation for this position: 52,000.00 - 53,040.00 USD per year. The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicants education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
