Warehouse/Material Handler

This position is an open-ended contract, typically lasting 1.5 years before permanent offers are considered. You will be working in Edwards Warehouse & Distribution Center, focusing on receiving orders, managing inventory, stocking shelves, and supporting other facility functions. The role includes reading orders and building kits for mechanical/electrical assembly teams. Maintaining a clean work area and performing odd jobs around the office/warehouse as needed are also part of the job.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and Warehouse SOPs.

Effective teamwork and strong work ethic.

1-3 years of previous continuous work experience.

Knowledge of safety procedures in warehouse, distribution, construction, or retail environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, stock, pallet, forklift, retail, material handling, inventory management.

Work Environment

The role is based in the Distribution Center & Warehouse area, which is connected to the assembly floor where vacuum systems are assembled. The facility includes overhead cranes, moving forklifts, tow motors, and reach trucks. The warehouse & manufacturing area houses 50+ employees depending on volume. Safety is a major focus, requiring steel toe boots/shoes, safety glasses, durable work pants or jeans, and red polo shirts or work shirts with a high visibility vest at all times.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Sanborn, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
