Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Warehouse Material Handler to join our team. This role involves operating material handling equipment, managing inbound and outbound shipments, and ensuring accurate inventory control in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate material handling equipment to load and unload trucks, and move materials within the warehouse.
Log inbound freight shipments (UPS, FedEx, Airborne, DHL) accurately.
Inspect equipment before use and ensure it is in safe operating condition; report any accidents or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.
Stock and arrange products to optimize warehouse inventory turnover.
Perform cycle counts to determine accurate material quantities.
Receive materials into inventory, move quantities between designated locations, and pick materials from warehouse locations as required.
Ensure accurate data entry of part numbers, quantities, and other key information affecting electronic inventory records; resolve discrepancies promptly.
Safely locate parts, ensuring pallet stability, appropriate pallet heights, and that materials and equipment are undamaged and aisles remain clear.
Follow safe material handling techniques at all times.
Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Demonstrate flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
This position is designated as Safety Sensitive by the company.
Qualifications:
Experience operating material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility with work schedule.
Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
