Warehouse Associate Opportunity

Aerotek is urgently hiring warehouse associates! As a warehouse associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a neat, organized, and accurate warehouse throughout your shift. Your primary objective will be to move products and raw materials between the warehouses and the production floor, always ensuring safety and product integrity. Additionally, you will provide backup support to the shipping and receiving team, occasionally loading and unloading trucks.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
  • Move products and raw materials between the warehouses and the production floor.
  • Ensure all products are 100% free from damage, dents, or rips.
  • Provide backup services to the shipping and receiving team.
  • Occasionally load and unload trucks.
  • Pick and handle materials.
  • Operate pallet jacks and RF scanners.
  • Use sit-down forklifts and reach trucks.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to use a barcode scanner.
  • Ability to use a pallet jack.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate via email and other electronic services.
  • Forklift certification (must pass forklift training).

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and constantly looking to reduce clutter and improve warehouse efficiency.
  • Superb task-switching ability and follow-through on assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative.
  • Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing and flexible to help with urgent issues outside the immediate scope of the role.

Job Type & Location:

This is a contract to hire position based out of Neptune, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
