As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that customers have a pleasant and memorable experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and work collaboratively with kitchen staff will be essential in maintaining a smooth operation. *Responsibilities* * Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. * Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences. * Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy in orders. * Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and address any needs or concerns promptly. * Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area. * Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food handling. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals. * Utilize point-of-sale systems such as Aloha POS or OpenTable for order entry and payment processing. * Helping with opening and end of day duties. *Skills* * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments. * Strong sales abilities to upsell menu items effectively. * Culinary knowledge to understand menu offerings and assist with guest inquiries. * Familiarity with food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. * Proficiency in using OpenTable or Aloha POS systems is preferred but not required. * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently. * Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. * Experience in food handling is an advantage.
