About the Role
The Company is seeking a Retail Design and Construction Program Manager for North America. This VP-level role is pivotal in the major repositioning of the retail network to align with the next generation of digital banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the outsourced project management provider, ensuring the seamless delivery of projects that meet strategic branding and innovative design standards. Key responsibilities include strengthening global standards, overseeing project management and construction, ensuring compliance with corporate and local standards, and managing the sustainability strategy. The role demands a professional with a thorough understanding of the retail banking industry, direct experience in managing large retail programs, and a proven track record of delivering multi-million-dollar projects on time and within budget.
Applicants must have 5-10 years' of experience in retail construction and store development, with a core construction management background, and at least 5 years' of experience in managing project management staff. The role requires a leader with the ability to adapt to unique project challenges, influence and persuade through strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to handling diverse personalities. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools is essential, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Financial services experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at financial management, risk control, and will have a strong focus on sustainability and green building practices.
