About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Service and Systems for its Electrical Equipment Center of Excellence. The successful candidate will be a strategic and service leader, responsible for the service and systems P&L, and will work closely with Central Operations. This role involves leading the development and execution of a service strategy that is recognized as best-in-class, with a focus on operational excellence, customer loyalty, and significant growth in service offerings and revenue. The VP will also be tasked with building and enhancing service capabilities, executing the service strategy to achieve financial goals, and leading the market launch of new systems and services. A key aspect of the role is to champion a customer-first mindset and cultivate relationships with key customers.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with a strong background in technical service, manufacturing, and customer delight. A Master’s degree and/or MBA is preferred. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years' experience in service, manufacturing, or a related field, with a proven track record in both strategic and operational functions, and at least 5 years' of people leadership experience. The role requires exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and project management capabilities, as well as proficiency in service and manufacturing technology and data analytics. The VP will directly manage a team of 5-8 professionals, providing clear direction, coaching, and fostering a high-performing team culture. The position demands a high level of interpersonal, conflict resolution, analytical, and critical thinking skills, and the ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
