We are looking for: Veterinary Clinical Education Specialist - Training Coordinator The Clinical Education Specialist (CES) is a vital member of the hospital team responsible for the successful execution of onboarding and ongoing training for Clinical Services team members. This Dual-Role position balances approximately 50% of time delivering direct patient care and 50% of time dedicated to clinical education and training responsibilities. The CES leverages their clinical experience and on-the-floor presence to identify real-time learning opportunities, model best practices, and ensure consistent alignment between training efforts and hospital workflows.The CES partners closely with hospital leadership and the Clinical Education Department to coordinate onboarding programs, ongoing clinical education, externship and internship programs, and to maintain accurate training documentation and resources. What You’ll Do: Onboarding & Training Coordination Facilitate the MedVet onboarding and training process for new Clinical Services team members
Deliver new hire orientation and site-based general onboarding
Support skills-based training for clinical procedures, either directly or by coordinating with subject matter experts
Gather feedback and recommendations from trainers, mentors, and leadership during onboarding
Maintain accurate training files and track onboarding progress for all new Clinical Services team members
Ongoing Education & Development Plan, execute, and track ongoing education for Clinical Services team members
Facilitate annual mandatory training (., OSHA, Radiation Safety)
Deliver training and communication for new medications, equipment, and clinical protocols
Identify and respond to training needs through direct observation and collaboration with hospital leaders
Support development and delivery of site-specific and organizational training initiatives
Externship & Student Programs Coordinate student externships and observer programs
Serve as liaison for veterinary technician programs and students onsite
Maintain schedules, documentation, and evaluation processes for student experiences
Clinical Support & Integration Provide direct patient care within assigned department(s)
Use clinical time to observe team workflows, identify gaps, and guide training priorities
Model MedVet’s standards for patient care, communication, and teamwork
Who You Are: Veterinary Technician Credential required (RVT, CVT, LVT)
Emergency and/or Specialty experience required
Able to balance administrative responsibilities with direct patient care
Demonstrates initiative, critical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills
Effective communicator with strong collaboration and coaching skills
Skilled in Microsoft Office and able to learn industry-specific software
Organized and self-directed, with a proactive approach to training and development
