As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail or mall location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or property damage encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain order within the location. Support Allied Universal management and local law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies. Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during shifts. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
