As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a high-end retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining visibility to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri12:30 PM - 09:00 PMSat10:30 AM - 09:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to observe and report any unusual activity. Assist visitors, employees, and/or customers with directions and general inquiries. Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to maintain a welcoming environment while supporting security-related protocols. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
