Ryder is looking for the right driver to join us in Corbin, KY for new CDL graduates that have received their CDL license. We want drivers with 6-9 months of experience. Drivers will receive 8 weeks of training focusing on all backing, close quarter maneuvers, practice doing short and longer runs and get paid while doing so. Ryder drivers are paid weekly with a weekly minimum guarantee during training of $1025 per week and a weekly minimum guarantee after training of $1682 per week. Team miles pay: $0.32 per mile with 5000 miles per week. Team stops pay: $7.00 per stop with 4-8 stops per day. Drop and hook pay: $6.00 per drop/hook. Paid training. Requirements + 9 months or less of CDL driving experience + Minimum 21 years of age + Pass a Ryder drug test + Pass a Ryder background and a motor vehicle registration check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years + Pass a DOT physical + Pass a Ryder road test + Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position + Valid commercial driver license (CDL) class A + Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions + Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures Important note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.
