Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist is needed for travel opportunities in Beaverton, OR, supporting diverse student populations in educational settings. This role focuses on delivering psychological services that enhance students' academic performance and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educators, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students to support mental health and social skills development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to design and implement strategies promoting positive student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with federal and state regulations related to special education services.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist in the state of Oregon or eligibility to obtain it.
- Experience in conducting psycho-educational evaluations and behavioral assessments.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and psychological interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
- Ability to adapt to various school environments as a traveling professional.
