Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide critical care and emergency nursing services in a fast-paced ER setting, focusing on trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases. This travel opportunity in Tolar, TX, offers the chance to work nights with a dedicated team in a 19-bed ER environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current RN licensure
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC (from AHA or ARC)
  • Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience, preferably with travel assignments
  • Competence in managing trauma, stroke, and chest pain patients
  • Must have up-to-date titers at time of application

Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a 10-room, 19-bed/chair emergency department
  • Maintain a patient ratio of 3 or 4 to 1 for optimal care delivery
  • Utilize MEDHOST EMR system proficiently for documentation
  • Follow strict protocols to ensure patient safety and accuracy under varying emergency conditions

Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts: 1845 to 0715
  • No call, no floating
  • 48-hour Return to Office (RTO) requests must be submitted with the initial subpacket
