This role involves working in a pediatric urgent care setting, providing exceptional care to infants, children, and adolescents presenting with a wide variety of acute conditions.Key Responsibilities:Perform triage and deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients with acute and urgent needs.Administer medications and immunizations as appropriate.Assist with minor procedures including wound care, splinting, suturing, and nebulizer treatments.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and family-centered care.Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.Maintain compliance with all infection control, PPE, and universal precautions. RequirementsRequirements:Active California RN License (pending license accepted with confirmed posting ETA)Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Pediatrics or Emergency DepartmentExperience performing triage on pediatric patients requiredCertifications:BLS (AHA)PALSCharting: Any electronic medical record systemFirst-time travelers accepted if pediatric and triage experience is strong
