Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist skilled in both in-department and mobile settings. This travel opportunity is based in Elkhorn, NE, offering the chance to work with advanced imaging technology and support patient care through diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. This role requires expertise in performing quality imaging studies under supervision, contributing to teaching and research, and utilizing departmental resources efficiently while ensuring patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures accurately, focusing on attenuation correction (not diagnostic).
  • Operate gamma cameras and associated computer systems confidently, including mobile units.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols when handling radioactive materials and doses.
  • Monitor patients using appropriate safety equipment during procedures.
  • Support educational and research initiatives within the nuclear medicine department.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nuclear medicine program.
  • Current certification by NMTCB and/or ARRT.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within three months of hire).
  • Prior clinical experience with nuclear medicine gamma cameras from various manufacturers.
  • Strong communication and patient care skills across all age groups.
  • Experience in PET attenuation correction and willingness to work in both fixed and mobile environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be certified by a nationally recognized board (NMTCB or ARRT).
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely with radioactive materials.
  • Proficient in computer systems interfaced with imaging equipment.
  • Understanding of radioactive materials, doses, and flood sources.
  • Experience with patient monitoring and radiation safety equipment.
