Position Overview The Trainee Shift Supervisor position is an essential entry-level role that prepares you for future growth into a supervisory position such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. In this role, you will receive comprehensive training in operations and management skills, along with an in-depth understanding of our business and the CVS/pharmacy culture. After successfully completing the training program, you will be eligible for promotion to available Ops Supervisor or Shift Supervisor roles which focus on delivering excellent customer service and managing store performance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Management Work effectively with store management and team members. Supervise store staff by assigning tasks, directing activities, and ensuring follow-up on operations. Communicate effectively both with store management and crew. 2. Customer Service Assist customers by addressing their questions and resolving any issues. Promote a positive CVS customer service culture by greeting, offering help, and expressing gratitude. Manage customer relations issues adhering to company policy to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. Maintain patient confidentiality and respect privacy. Qualifications: Strong deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills are required. Excellent communication abilities along with a flexible schedule, which may include early mornings, weekends, and the potential for overtime, are essential. Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a retail environment. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory. Weekly Hours: 29 hours per week Employment Type: Part Time The following schedule flexibility is required for this role: Pay Range: The typical pay range for this position is $17.10 - $26.00 per hour, depending on various factors such as experience, education, and location.
