Position Overview The Trainee Shift Supervisor position is an exciting entry-level role designed to prepare you for a supervisory career path. You will engage in hands-on training to help develop essential operations and management skills, gain insights into our business practices, and learn how to build customer loyalty through outstanding service. Successful trainees can advance to higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate effectively with store management and team members. Supervise crew activities by assigning tasks, directing operations, and ensuring follow-through on responsibilities. Facilitate communication between management and staff. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Promote a customer-first culture by welcoming and assisting every customer. Uphold customer confidentiality at all times. Qualifications: Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills. Effective communication skills with the ability to relate to colleagues and customers. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Previous retail experience is an advantage. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Work Schedule: This is a part-time position with anticipated weekly hours of 20. Compensation: The typical pay range for this role is $16.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on factors such as experience and education.
