We are looking for energetic and motivated Trainee Shift Supervisors who are ready to embark on a journey towards becoming a Shift Manager within just 90 days. In this role, you will focus on enhancing our store's wine and spirits sales by delivering exceptional and personalized service to our Guests and Team Members.

Responsibilities: Act as Manager on Duty during your training, assist in opening and closing the store, and collaborate with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations. Welcome every Guest with enthusiasm and provide prompt, friendly, and engaging service throughout their shopping experience. Operate a Point-of-Sale terminal efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling, processing various payment methods, and applying discounts or promotions according to company policies. Stay updated on required training, company policies, and product knowledge to deliver a knowledgeable and high-quality experience to our Guests. Train, coach, and lead other sales associates while acting in the Manager on Duty role, promoting outstanding customer service and compliance with operational procedures. Ensure the store environment remains clean, safe, and organized, including all customer-facing areas and Team Member spaces. Assist with upkeep by cleaning the store, managing trash collection, and conducting routine maintenance of restrooms and other areas. Provide wrapping services for ABC products, create custom gift baskets, and assist with carryout services as needed. Receive and stock weekly deliveries, merchandising products on shelves and in beer coolers, and restocking from the stockroom. Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by store management. Minimum Qualifications: Must be 21 years of age or older. High School Diploma or GED. At least 6 months of relevant experience in a management or leadership role; or a minimum of 2 years of education from a college or technical school in Business Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs. General Requirements: Maintain regular and reliable onsite attendance. All team members are expected to arrive as scheduled and remain on-site for their shifts, as reliable attendance is crucial for operational success and consistent service to our Guests. Physical Requirements: (With or Without Accommodations) Continuously: Standing and moving for long periods (up to 8 hours or more). Frequently: Bending, lifting, and twisting to manage inventory and assist with merchandising. Frequently: Lifting and transporting items up to 40 lbs. throughout the store and stockroom. Occasionally: Conducting overhead lifts to access high shelves. Occasionally: Using ladders and step stools for product retrieval and storage. Frequently: Moving between various sales floor, stockroom, and exterior areas. Vision Requirements: (With or Without Accommodations) Frequently: Inspecting product labels, signage, and displays for accuracy and presentation quality. Frequently: Responding to visual cues such as Guest gestures, product placements, or safety hazards. Work Environment: Occasionally: Working in elevated locations and utilizing tools like ladders. Occasionally: Exposure to outdoor elements while maintaining the storefront or assisting Guests. Occasionally: Encountering fumes or particles from cleaning supplies. Occasionally: Working in refrigerated areas (32-41°F) while stocking or retrieving items. Continuously: Managing a moderate noise level in the work setting.
