As a vital Stockroom Associate, you are the backbone of our operations, ensuring that we meet our commitment to every customer. This position requires availability during hours before the store opens and after it closes. What You'll Do: As a Stockroom Associate, you play a key role in connecting our merchandise with our valued customers. Your contributions are essential for providing a seamless shopping experience. Freight and Inventory Management: Efficiently unload, sort, and process freight shipments, managing the flow of products from the truck to the stockroom and sales floor. Customer Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders, including online purchases for in-store pickup, enhancing the overall customer experience. Stockroom Operations: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom; replenish merchandise on the sales floor, ensuring easy access for the store team. Support the Sales Team: Collaborate with sales associates to keep products available and share information on new arrivals, empowering them to offer top-notch service. Uphold Standards: Adhere to company policies regarding safety, merchandising, and cleanliness—taking pride in maintaining operational excellence daily. Assist as Needed: Perform various tasks assigned by management to contribute to the store's success. What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent. Retail experience is preferred but not mandatory. Customer-centric attitude. Pride in your work and ownership of store responsibilities. Integrity and trustworthiness. Strong communication and listening skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Willingness to perform additional duties as requested. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Environmental Factors: Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours daily. Frequent reaching, bending, and twisting. Regular hand and finger motions, reaching with hands and arms. Frequently lifting up to twenty pounds, occasionally lifting up to forty pounds; push/pull objects weighing up to twenty pounds. Ability to climb ladders and reach/bend as necessary. Work in temperatures ranging from 50 - 85 degrees, especially in stockroom areas. Use of a computer for about 60% of the workday.
