We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Swing Shift Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to fabricate components according to specifications. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various materials, ensuring precision and quality in all produced parts.

*Responsibilities*

* Operate laser cutting machines to produce high-quality sheet metal components. * Set up and adjust machine parameters for optimal performance. * Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine cutting requirements. * Conduct routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure proper functioning. * Utilize measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions of finished products. * Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. * Assist in the fabrication process using additional machinery such as CNC, milling machines, lathes, and stamping presses as needed.

*Skills*

* Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in operating laser cutting machines. * Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes and techniques. * Proficient in using measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers for precise measurements. * Experience with CNC machinery, milling machines, lathes, and stamping presses is highly desirable. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues across various departments.
