About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President to serve as a strategic business partner with a focus on commercial insurance. The successful candidate will have local and regional responsibility for a portfolio of complex clients, with a key role in shaping strategy and expanding influence in the Northeast. This leadership position involves working closely with Producers to manage and grow their book of business, providing expert guidance on commercial coverage lines, and ensuring the seamless delivery of resources to clients. The role requires a strong background in commercial property and casualty insurance, with specialized knowledge in private equity, construction, and real estate. The SVP will be responsible for new business growth, maintaining client relationships, and acting as a subject matter expert on property and casualty and carrier products and services.
Applicants for this role at the company should have a BA/BS degree, with a Master's degree in a relevant subject highly desirable, and more than 15 years of industry and product line experience. A Property & Casualty Broker's License is required, and a CPCU or other P&C designation is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with the ability to build relationships, drive business growth, and work independently. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to work with a variety of people and display strong leadership. The role demands a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to travel and work in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
