What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
Job Summary
The Supervisor, Warehouse Operations supervises a team of Associates and ensures that pick, pack, and ship operations are safe, efficient, and of high quality. With responsibility for a day or night shift, the Supervisor continually monitors efficiency and quality metrics, assigns work and provides coaching to supervised staff, and addresses a variety of operational issues. The Supervisor directly contributes to Cardinal Health's customer service reputation by ensuring that shipments are on-time and of high quality, develops the Warehouse Operations talent pool, and enhances operational excellence.

40 hours weekly
Mid-Shift
Monday - Friday 10:00am - 7:00pm
Must be flexible to work other hours and days as needed
Responsibilities
Manages Warehouse management activities in a Nuclear Manufacturing environment and ensure compliance with Manufacturing and Quality Management policies and procedures.
Directs and controls receipt, storage, issuance, and return of materials of both commercial and non- commercial. This may include investigating and resolving discrepant shipments, invoice discrepancies, and performing corrective actions.
Interacts with Plant Director, Managers, and peers within other departments to ensure implementation of warehousing and inventory strategies.
Provides onsite direction and interaction with department management on Warehouse Management issues.
Interacts with department personnel to improve customer service and resolve any issues.
Assesses training levels, assists in the development of training, and performs training in materials management methodologies and processes.
Interacts with internal and external auditors on regulatory issues related to Materials Management.
Performs general supervisory duties, including procedure development, work schedule development, budget preparation, and goal development.
May perform other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
4-8 years of experience, preferred
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred
Preferable to have experience in pharmaceutical industry and/or cGMP environment.
Willing to obtain DOT (Department of Transportation) and IATA (International Air Transport Association) certification within 3 months of hire.
Forklift experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel and possess strong communication skills.

Anticipated salary range: $66,500 - $94,900
