The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Store #1897, located at: 3210 Nimtz Parkway South Bend, IN 46628. As a Store Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Working closely with both wholesale and retail customers, you will identify their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the best solutions available. Your goal is to promptly resolve any customer concerns and ensure maximum satisfaction while staying informed about product features and maintaining the store's high quality and visual standards. Meeting and exceeding the store's sales goals will be an essential part of your responsibilities. Key responsibilities include: Delivering outstanding customer service to ensure high levels of satisfaction. Engaging with customers in person and over the phone to identify and present appropriate products and services. Building reliable and productive relationships with both wholesale and retail customers. Accurately processing sales transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures. Meeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals. Maintaining accurate work order files and formulas. Pulling products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed. Tinting and mixing products to meet customer specifications. Organizing and setting up product displays. Keeping store equipment and facilities clean and orderly. Loading and unloading delivery trucks. Assisting with deliveries when required. Ensuring assigned areas are stocked and presented attractively. Staying knowledgeable about product offerings and discussing available options with customers. Following inventory control procedures. Proposing ways to improve sales performance. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for a work visa. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate effectively in English and Spanish. A valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Capability to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion. Willingness to work various scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role. Previous experience in selling paint and related products. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
