The Senior Marketing Manager, Customer Insights & Advisory Boards, is responsible for leading executive-level advisory board programming and driving data-informed marketing strategies. In this role, you are responsible for designing and executing advisory board programs tailored to diverse care markets and delivering actionable customer insights to empower sales and strategy teams.
Job Summary
The Senior Marketing Manager, Customer Insights & Advisory Boards, is responsible for shaping Medical Distribution marketing strategies through deep customer understanding and data-driven insights. This role leads customer advisory board programming, synthesizes internal and external insights into actionable resources for the sales organization, and connects various data sources to empower effective decision-making.
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the medical distribution customer advisory board program, incorporating tailored approaches for various care markets, and deliver value to both the business and its members.
Consolidate and analyze internal and external market trends and insights to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions, providing the organization with actionable resources, including customer profiles.
Collaborate cross-functionally to connect internal and external data sources to amplify targeted and strategic selling practices and to inform network strategy.
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Governance
Lead the development and execution of the advisory board’s strategic agenda aligned with organizational goals.
Facilitate best practices in governance, ensuring compliance, transparency, and adherence to ethical standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders, including board members, C-suite leaders, and external advisors.
Act as a liaison between the advisory board and internal leadership, translating insights into actionable strategies.
Healthcare Industry Expertise
Demonstrated understanding of healthcare trends, regulations, and innovations.
Ability to synthesize complex healthcare data and policy into strategic recommendations.
Meeting Facilitation & Content Development
Oversee the planning, facilitation, and follow-up of advisory board meetings.
Develop high-impact content (briefing materials, presentations, reports) tailored to executive audiences.
Advisory Board Operations
Manage logistics, communications, and documentation for board activities.
Ensure timely execution of board deliverables and follow-through on action items.
Metrics & Impact
Define and track KPIs for board effectiveness, including engagement, strategic influence, and implementation outcomes.
Provide regular reporting to senior leadership on board contributions and ROI.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in executive-level stakeholder management, preferably in healthcare.
Strong background in strategic planning, communications, and governance.
Experience with advisory boards, councils, or committees is highly preferred.
Qualifications
Proven project management skills and ability to adapt and influence cross-functionally.
Strong analytical skills and experience working with data to identify trends and insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, concise recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
8-10 years’ experience in marketing, sales enablement, or a related field, preferred
Advisory board development and meeting experience is a plus

Anticipated salary range: $103,500 - $147,900
