A K-12 school in Sonora, CA, seeks qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) for a contract position during the upcoming school year. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations of students with speech and language disorders to identify needs and challenges
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals and abilities
Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions targeting communication skills
Monitor and maintain detailed documentation of student progress and outcomes
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care and support
Involve and educate families in the therapy process to promote generalization and carryover of skills
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice speech-language pathology in California
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required
Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations strongly preferred
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment
Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in California
