Specialty Pharmacy Technician As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for interpreting and entering prescription data in our pharmacy system, answering incoming calls, and completing outbound calls to/from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. What You Can Expect: Fill medication requests and complete required documentation. Direct outstanding inquiries, issues or concerns to appropriate staff. Ensure inventory stock levels of drug items, ancillary supplies, and compounding supplies are maintained at appropriate levels. Utilize EPIC and Willow Ambulatory to access patient profiles and prescriptions/medication orders, provide needed information, process refill requests, complete billing/medical charges and resolve problems. Provide timely and accurate information regarding coverage and patient cost as requested by patients and specialty clinic staff. Responsible for daily billing operations, such as submission of claims (electronic and paper), reporting any financial tasks. Acquire, complete, track and reconcile all necessary paperwork, application and financial information from patients seeking assistance.
