Overview Solutions Architect focused on Generative AI for retail, guiding customers in implementing best practices and creating solutions using AI. This includes Agentic applications, Generative Media for marketing, and AI-powered catalog data enrichment. You'll direct the reliable and safe production deployment of these AI workloads.
As part of Google Cloud's Solution Engineering, you should know software and cloud-native development and manage multiple projects. You'll work with customers, field teams, solutions, and Google engineering to produce secure, scalable Gen AI solutions, sharing these through white papers, open-source, webinars, videos, blogs, and presentations. You'll help decision-makers adopt Google Cloud and explore Gen AI suite to build and deploy cloud solutions for retail use cases, providing feedback to product teams while developing architectures, best practices, and adoption strategies.

Responsibilities Design, build, and scale technical assets showcasing Google Cloud's value for retail, with emphasis on Generative AI such as agentic apps, marketing media, and AI data enrichment to drive customer growth and efficiency.
Align with stakeholders across product, solution, and content teams, as well as customers, ensuring market-aligned assets that integrate into Go-To-Market initiatives.
Create reusable assets, including reference architectures and open-source code, guiding Gen AI implementation in retail.
Develop open-source technical solutions leveraging retail and cloud expertise, transforming ideas into opportunities for intelligent agents, synthetic media, and enhanced product information.
Represent the retail customers, feeding back to Product teams to shape future AI solutions.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with one or more Google Cloud services within a Retail context: VertexAI, BigQuery, BigTable, Spanner, Dataflow, Google Kubernetes Engine, Google Compute Engine.
Experience in Artificial Intelligence applications (e.g., deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or pattern recognition), applied machine learning techniques, or using OSS frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Preferred qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, a related engineering field.
Understanding of the current state of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics.
Excellent communication, written, presentation and problem-solving skills.
Compensation and Employment Details The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
