Shipping/Retail Associate

We are currently seeking a Shipping/Retail Associate to join our nonprofit organization as a W-2 employee. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include shipping out our online orders, posting items online, and taking photographs of those items. You will also work with computers and other electronic devices, receive items from customers, and assist in sorting recyclable materials.
To be eligible for this position, you must have prior experience in online sales or possess computer repair and troubleshooting knowledge. You should be physically able to handle items weighing up to 35 pounds, demonstrate strong attention to detail, be authorized to work in the USA, and pass a background check.
This is a part-time position, with expected hours ranging from 20 to 25 hours per week. The pay is between $15.00 and $17.00 per hour. The schedule will consist of shifts lasting 4 to 6 hours.
Responsibilities: Pack and box items for shipping. Research items online, clean them, and photograph them. Wipe computers and install new operating systems. Assist with customer drop-offs, including loading and unloading. Sort items by type for recycling purposes. Answer phone calls. Help unload and reload electronics.
Requirements : Prior experience in online sales or computer repair/troubleshooting. Ability to manage a physical workload. Strong attention to detail. Authorization to work in the USA. Ability to pass a background check.

Keeper of the Grumper is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting youth leadership organizations. The Grumper works to raise funds via the recycling of electronics and other communication equipment, updating and repairing our stock before reselling it.
