Position Summary The Shift Supervisor Development Trainee is an exciting entry-level position designed to prepare you for a supervisory role, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. In this short-term role, you'll participate in essential training to equip you with the necessary operational and management skills needed for future leadership responsibilities. You will also gain insights into key business aspects, including fostering customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding the CVS/pharmacy culture. Upon successful completion of the training program, you will have the opportunity to be considered for higher positions within the company. In these roles, you will support the CVS Store Management team in driving store operations and performance while enhancing consumer loyalty through outstanding customer service. In the absence of a manager, you will lead the store staff, ensure seamless store operations, and be responsible for executing all opening and closing procedures. Essential Functions: Work collaboratively with store management and crew members. Supervise store staff by assigning, directing, and following up on activities. Communicate effectively with both store management and crew members. Assist customers with inquiries, concerns, and complaints. Promote the CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank customers). Address all customer relations issues according to company policy, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Maintain customer/patient confidentiality at all times. Required Qualifications: Strong deductive reasoning abilities, analytical skills, and computer proficiency are essential. Advanced communication skills are necessary, as well as a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts. Overtime may be required. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a retail environment. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory. Anticipated Weekly Hours: 20 Time Type: Part time Pay Range: The typical pay range for this position is $16.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
