Discounts on tuition of $200 per credit hour for Heidelberg and Tiffin University students, for full time employees (32 scheduled hours per week or more) Work/Life Balance: 30-40 hours per week, no mandatory overtime, and guaranteed Sundays and Mondays off In 2021 we partook in an employee appreciation day where all of the sales and tips went to the employees and they made over $40 per hour Company Events such as Annual Christmas Parties Flexible scheduling 1 free meal every shift Employee discounts Quarterly Bonuses and Tips The challenge and fulfillment that comes from managing a cornerstone of the Tiffin community Variety of benefit packages available from the listed below: Insurance Vacation Sick time Phone allowance Gym membership Duties/Responsibilities: Shift Managers are in charge of upholding standards and policies and ensuring the store runs productively Package and check orders for accuracy in a timely manner Work with other team members in a respectful manner Handle customer complaints Correct mistakes before they happen Delegate tasks to other employees Prepare food orders Train new employees Take food orders over the phone in a professional and friendly manner Collect payments Fix inefficiencies in workflows and processes Dishwashing and cleaning Requirements This position is for the Tiffin Store Location Excellent organizational skills Excellent communication Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to keep work stations clean Friday / Saturday availability 18 Years of age or older Lifting up to 30lbs Additional Pre-Qualifications Cash drawer experience Some knowledge of Tiffin's streets for setting up delivery runs A desire to learn and keep the store running smoothly and good communication will get you far in this position Knowledge of basic food safety Willingness to occasionally pick up an additional shift, or stay past scheduled hours in cases of short staffing or unexpected high business. Scheduling and Availability Full time shift managers can expect to work 30-40 hours per week. We do not mandate overtime. Our business hours are 11am - 9pm Tuesday through Saturday We are closed on Sundays, Mondays, Christmas, and Thanksgiving We offer schedule flexibility and are able to work around your schedule, however, we typically require shift managers to close at least two days per week with one of those being a Friday or Saturday shift. We offer on-call scheduling options and the ability to switch shifts with other employees Requirements Demonstrated ability to coordinate a staff Friday / Saturday Availability 18 Years of Age Willingness to learn, and communicate effectively.
