We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining the quality of food production while fostering a positive work environment.
*Duties*
* Writing Prep Sheets Daily
* Spearheading the execution of all Catering & Event Orders
* Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service.
* Train and mentor staff on food safety practices, culinary techniques, and customer service standards.
* Assist in interviewing potential candidates and participate in the hiring process to build a strong team.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, providing solutions to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with the management team to implement promotional activities and improve overall restaurant performance.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in food service or restaurant management is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Experience in Prep planning and culinary techniques.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on helping both staff and customers succeed.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
