Join to apply for the Shift Leader role at Far West Services, LLC Base pay range $21.00/hr - $24.00/hr Overview A Shift Leader is an entry-level supervisory position with the responsibility of supporting the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager with the daily operations of a restaurant. The Shift Leader conveys the Wingstop culture to team members and is a creative, collaborative, and hardworking team player dedicated to the success of the brand. This role provides an entry-level leadership opportunity with training and upward mobility toward a General Manager position. Responsibilities Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Wingstop. Assist and support the General Manager in meeting store goals. Drive operational excellence by increasing sales and controlling labor and food costs during shifts. Ensure a safe restaurant environment for team members and guests; foster a culture of respect, recognition, and reward. Maintain a calm demeanor during peak periods or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and set a positive example for the shift team. Develop positive relationships with the shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs, and concerns. Be willing to assist all other positions when necessary. Deliver excellent customer service with a guest-first attitude and respond to guests needs. Follow cash management and cash register policies and ensure proper cash handling by the shift team. Resolve low-level guest issues efficiently and positively. Maintain operating standards and communicate maintenance needs to the Facilities Department; keep facilities to Wingstops company standards and ensure communication from leadership to the team. Coach, mentor, and develop team members to ensure a high-performing restaurant; leverage support from the Restaurant Support Center; ensure risk management issues follow company standards. Qualifications 1 year of previous food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory experience preferred but not required (entry-level manager opportunity). Food Handler Certification required once hired. 6 months experience using a POS system. Ability to meet restaurant operating policies and standards, including quality food, cash handling, and store safety with or without reasonable accommodation. Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation. Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, late nights, and/or holidays. Guest service mentality with a genuine desire to serve guests; calm and tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations. Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities. Strong leadership skills to manage, train, develop, and motivate a diverse, highly engaged team. Ability to problem solve and learn quickly; ability to drive team cohesiveness and represent the brand culture. Ability to lift and carry, push, or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
