Position Summary
The Restaurant Server is responsible for serving guests in the dining areas at the Arena Grill Restaurant during venue events. Servers must be able to work in an ever-changing, fast paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be able to work events as scheduled per business need. This role will pay an hourly rate between $18 plus tips Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Angel Of The Winds Arena is a three venue, state-of-the-art multi-purpose complex located in the heart of downtown Everett, WA. AOTW Arena is owned by the Everett Public Facilities District and managed by , the expert in hosting and entertainment, partnering with over 300 clients to create memorable experiences for millions of visitors every year. Responsibilities
Responsible for taking food and beverage orders and serving meals to guests. Recommends certain dishes and identifies ingredients or explains how various items on the menu are prepared. Responsible for checking guests ID to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages. Responsible for recording guests order and relaying order to the kitchen via P. system. Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests and determine when the meal has been completed. Responsible for accepting payments for meals and beverages using the . system. Responsible for refilling condiments, napkins and new roll-ups. Responsible for replacing tableware as necessary. Assists in setting up dining area for event functions including dishware, glassware and silverware. Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas. Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance. Qualifications
Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment. Ability to speak, read and write in English. Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment. Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit. Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as related to credit transactions and reconciliation.
