Job Overview The Server Assistant will work with servers to set tables, deliver requested items, remove used dishes, and practice good table maintenance. You will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by keeping the dining area clean and serving food in a timely and accurate manner. You should be highly motivated, energetic and committed to a high level of guest satisfaction. You should be comfortable in a fast paced environment, professional and dependable. Responsibilities and Duties ?Prepare dining areas before guests are seated, including setting silverware, napkins, tableware and condiments ? Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed ? Clean and reset tables after guests leave ? Act as the contact point between Front of House and Back of the House staff ? Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas ? Deliver orders from the kitchen to guest tables rapidly and accurately ? Inform restaurant staff about customer feedback or requests (asking for the check etc) Requirements ?At least 6 months experience in a high volume restaurant ? Excellent communication skills, able to multitask and the desire to work with and learn from an amazing team ? You must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift 20 pounds, and be available to work weekdays, weekends and some holidays ? Must work well under pressure, be punctual and professional and be excited to join a team of coworkers dedicated to detail ? Must have experience, a positive attitude, be punctual and be a team player ? Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules ?
