Position Summary
The client is seeking a Senior Real Estate Attorney with significant experience leading complex real estate finance transactions. This role is ideal for a candidate who has first-chair experience representing borrowers and/or lenders in financing transactions, and is looking to work remotely while contributing to a high-caliber legal team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage real estate finance transactions from origination to closing
Represent borrowers and/or lenders in structured finance, acquisition, development, and construction loan transactions
Negotiate and draft loan documents, intercreditor agreements, participation agreements, and related instruments
Collaborate closely with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel to achieve strategic deal outcomes
Provide mentorship and oversight to junior attorneys and support staff as needed
Ensure timely completion of high-quality work within the firms 1800-hour annual billable requirement
Candidate Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active and good standing with the California State Bar
Minimum 7+ years of experience in real estate finance, including significant first-chair transaction experience
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between [$300,000 $450,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
