Senior Project Manager Data Center, Service Operations
Reporting to the VP of Service Operations – remotely based

Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing battery and energy storage projects from cradle to grave, serving as the primary point of contact between the customers, third-party vendors and the company. This role includes managing project planning, coordination, execution, and closeout across multiple platforms. The person should have excellent communication and organizational skills, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to scope. This position requires the ability to travel to customer sites as needed — up to 25–50%.
Key Responsibilities
Project Ownership: Manage the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring and final closeout.
Customer Interface: Serve as the main liaison for customers throughout the project, building trust and ensuring alignment on deliverables.
Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with technicians, vendors, subcontractors, and third-party technicians to ensure timelines and requirements are met.
Documentation & Planning: Create, review, and maintain accurate and detailed project documentation including Scope of Work (SOW), Method of Procedures (MOP), project schedules, and closeout packages.
Team Coordination: Assign and manage internal resources and field teams to meet project expectations and ensure site readiness.
Efficiency & Compliance: Track project progress to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and safety regulations.
Site Support & Issue Resolution: Work closely with internal management and engineering teams to quickly identify, address, and resolve any issues that arise on site.
Project Closeout: Deliver comprehensive closeout and support documentation, including manuals, test results and reports.
Communication: Maintain clear, timely, and professional communication with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners.
Required Qualifications
Degree in Engineering preferred but not required with equivalent 5+ years of experience in project management, with the ability to handle multiple projects within the mission critical space
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent computer skills with experience in Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and NetSuite
Solid understanding of electrical systems and/or battery storage technologies with the ability to read and comment on electrical or construction drawings
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25–50% for on-site project support and customer meetings
