We are looking for a highly skilled business program manager to join the Business Program Management team reporting to the Director of Process and Execution within UKG’s Transformation Office. this role requires a high energy, collaborative talent who is passionate about program management and who has a proven track record of working collaboratively and independently to help a world class organization sustain its success and market leadership, all the while remaining “Hungry, Humble, and Smart”.
• Extensive expertise in and an ability to apply Program management methodologies such as PMI and others
• Lead large, cross-functional initiatives with substantial risk, visibility, and complexity; including developing the strategy for project execution with minimal guidance
• Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization
• Managing cross-functional project and program teams with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities
• Ensure goals and objectives are clearly defined and plans are created and managed in order to meet the goals of the initiative
• Create clear and transparent communications to all levels of the program – SMEs, Stakeholders and Sponsors
• Produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle
• Assess and manage initiative risks, issues, and changes
• Serve as a thought leader and driver of our transformational and cross-functional Program Leadership capability
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field; MBA preferred
• 10 or more years of relevant business experience, including process improvement, program management and business operations
• Recognized expertise and thought leadership in program management and leadership
• Understanding of change management and process methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Executive presence and presentation skills
• Complex problem-solving, analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to constructively challenge current business practices, build commitment, and drive change
• Ability to influence others to get results
• Strong program management, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
• Ability to identify and overcome obstacles that inhibit team effectiveness
• Self-starter with an ability to work independently, including outside of actual reporting structure
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
• Lean / Six Sigma certification, Project management certification, Change Management and/or other equivalent are preferred
• Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
