We are currently seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician - Float to support various functions in our mental health pharmacy, focusing on dispensing prescriptions and completing clerical tasks under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST Location: Covering metro sites in Kansas City, KS, with potential assignments in Topeka, KS, and Emporia, KS based on coverage needs. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Delivering exceptional customer service to our patients and clinic staff. Filling and verifying prescription orders under the guidance of a Registered Pharmacist. Managing the ordering, receiving, and storage of pharmacy supplies. Processing wholesaler medication orders accurately. Maintaining inventory records by verifying medication stock and updating data systems. Collaborating with the Pharmacist to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Carrying out various clerical duties to support pharmacy operations. Exhibiting strong verbal and written communication skills. Managing expenses effectively. Required Qualifications: Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Kansas. National Pharmacy Technician Certification. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Ability to travel to various sites using your own vehicle. Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with bubble pack/compliance packaging. Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting. Your salary will be competitive and based on several factors, with a range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour for full-time employment. We comply with all applicable wage laws.
