Key Culinary Professional Our esteemed restaurant seeks an exceptional cook to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality menu items that exceed our guests' expectations. Essential Functions: Prepare a diverse range of menu items according to established recipes and special requests Flexibility is key as you will work varying hours, days, and shifts, including weekends Safely utilize all necessary tools and equipment, prioritizing your safety and the safety of others Effective communication is vital to successfully perform and follow job requirements in both written and verbal directions Maintain composure while multitasking in a fast-paced environment Work comfortably in confined spaces with varying noise and temperature levels Able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently, move and/or lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds Stand and walk throughout an entire shift while safely navigating all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven, or slick surfaces Responsibilities and Duties: Maintain accurate portioning controls and par levels Guarantee food safety and quality standards are consistently met Efficiently read a thermometer to ensure optimal results Communicate any food delays or issues promptly to management Monitor menu item counts and notify management and service staff when quantities fall below specified minimums Accurately
