Job Duties and Responsibilities: Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session. The Boost Mobile Retail Store Technology team continually improves the in-store experience by developing innovative, advocate- and customer-centric technology. We seek an energetic Integration Engineer who will understand and improve our integration framework so that store technology gets maximum benefit from host systems. Key Responsibilities: Serve as primary technical liaison between Retail Store Technology team and peer organizations / vendors owning APIs Discover, document, and map all existing APIs consumed by store technology; define standards and best practices for API consumption Provide design oversight and guidance that emphasizes store technology to internal development teams and third-party vendors Clearly communicate technical concepts and architectural decisions to diverse audiences
Skills, Experience and Requirements: Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, plus 3 years of API integration experience in job offered or similar roles Skills and Qualifications: . Significant experience using Apigee for API management (required) Expertise in API design principles, security (OAuth, API Keys), versioning, gateways, and documentation standards (Swagger)
Familiarity with retail systems (POS, inventory, CRM), networking fundamentals, cloud platforms (AWS), and SQL/NoSQL databases
Understanding of architectural styles including microservices, monolithic, and event-driven approaches
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and build consensus across teams without direct authority
Skilled at breaking down complex problems, aligning solutions with long-term goals, and balancing architectural purity with practical constraints

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
