The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Specialist to join our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) organization in Huntsville, AL .
In order for the selected candidate to be successful in the role they will have an extensive background in industrial hygiene, and supporting multiple sites.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops, implements and monitors occupational health and safety programs and processes Develops and provides training and instructions Evaluates the impact of emerging issues, regulations and legislation to company operations Develops corrective action plan to respond to internal/external audits and inspections Plans and conducts health and safety audits This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree or higher 5+ years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) 5+ years of experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits 5+ years of experience with Industrial Hygiene 1+ years of project management experience Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with ordinance, and government contracts Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals Drug Free Workplace:

Summary pay range: $110,500 - $149,500

Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Export Control Requirement: This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. ยง120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Safety Sensitive: This is not a Safety Sensitive Position.
Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
