Position Overview
The focus of this position is to provide financial and analytical support for the Johnson Fitness & Wellness retail stores and other market segments, including – Independent Dealers, Sporting Goods Customers, E Commerce and Wellness distribution channels. This is a non-supervisory position. Responsibilities Budgeting and Forecasting: •Support Financial Reporting requirements for actual results and projections • Assist with developing the annual budget and operating plan Financial Duties MAY include: • Development and entry of monthly journal entries and reclassifications, including analysis of Customer rebate and incentive plans and development of warranty claim estimates • Reconciliation and maintenance of assigned general ledger accounts • Provide information and assist with quarterly reviews and year end audit • Develop and implement procedures and policies to improve financial practices • Work with Purchasing to develop and update product standard costs in SAP and Iridium. • Develop relationships with sales segment directors to develop and monitor marketing and promotional programs, management of customer incentive programs, and management of overall spending in support of business • Preparation of ad hoc analysis in support of business decisions Other duties as assigned Requirements Education: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • Additional education, such as MBA or CPA, a plus Experience: • Minimum 5 years in prior Accounting, Finance, or related experience • Experience with SAP is desired • Cost accounting and margin and retail pricing analysis and support a plus • Rolling forecast, budget, and planning experience desired, along with ability to conduct ad hoc financial analysis Other Requirements: • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, able to clearly communicate financial information in easy-to-understand manner at multiple levels and functions within the business • Strong system skills – experience with SAP (FI, MM & SD modules), BW, Microsoft CRM and Adaptive Insights preferred • Strong analytical skills • Clear problem solving and investigative skills • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Skills: Computer Skills: • SAP, BW, Adaptive Insights, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CRM, Iridium or other POS system Communication: • Develop relationships throughout organization • Strong verbal and written communications skills • Clearly communicate analysis • Confidence in presenting ideas and recommendations Organization: • Ability to accurately manage high degree of detail • Strong organization skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities • Ability to meet deadlines consistently Other: • Motivation to improve business and financial results • Action Oriented • Motivated to learn and advance to higher levels • Supportive team player Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package along with outstanding benefits and growth opportunities, including: • Health & Dental Insurance • Company-paid Life Insurance • 401(k) Plan with company contributions • Generous Paid Time Off • Exclusive Product Discounts • Wellness Programs and more EOE/M/W/Vet/Disability #ZR
