Our client is seeking a talented Administrative or Executive Assistant, with at least two years experience, to provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership. Key responsibilities of this role include calendar management, expense reporting, managing volunteer data, and taking meeting minutes. Experience working with membership organizations or governance boards is highly preferred, as this role will interface with members of the Board in addition to senior leadership. Please note that this is a hybrid role that requires an in-person presence three days per week. Applicants must be able to commute to downtown Washington, DC. Responsibilities: Support the CEO and other senior leadership by offering comprehensive administrative assistance Manage the calendar and travel logistics for the organizations CEO Schedule events, book conference rooms, and execute meetings for the CEO and various committees Draft, edit, and send business correspondence on behalf of senior leadership Manage expense reporting for the CEO Track volunteer details, roles, and tenure, ensuring accuracy in organizational records Provide assistance to the Board of Directors, as needed, including taking and organizing meeting minutes Additional ad hoc administrative responsibilities Requirements: 2+ years experience supporting C-Level executives Board experience required; association industry experience highly preferred Familiarity with Board Meeting protocols and taking meeting minutes Ability to maintain a strong attention to detail while juggling competing priorities Collaborative, creative problem-solving abilities that value a diversity of perspectives and cultures Ability to work on-site in downtown Washington, DC Salary: Up to $69,000; Comprehensive medical/dental/vision benefits (100% employer-paid), life insurance, disability insurance, generous PTO policies, annual lifestyle stipend ($500), office closed between Christmas and New Years Seniority level Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Administrative Industries Professional Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at The Chicago Hire Company by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance Get notified when a new job is posted.
