The Role

The Senior Account Manager will serve as the primary contact for a designated book of business, ensuring timely, accurate policy servicing and exceptional client experience. From day-to-day service requests to complex renewals and coverage recommendations, you’ll handle all aspects of client relationship management. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and working closely with producers to retain and grow accounts. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a high-efficiency setting and takes pride in delivering top-tier service.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all servicing needs for a mixed portfolio of commercial and personal lines clients

  • Build and maintain strong, proactive client relationships through timely communication and support

  • Handle service tasks such as COIs, endorsements, billing inquiries, and claims follow-up

  • Lead the renewal process, including exposure gathering, marketing to carriers (when thresholds are met), and negotiating terms

  • Advise clients on coverage gaps, renewal options, and risk management strategies

  • Ensure accurate and timely policy issuance, renewals, and documentation within agency systems

  • Collaborate with producers to identify cross-sell opportunities and support client growth

  • Maintain compliance with agency standards, carrier guidelines, and documentation procedures

  • Support the development of junior team members through mentorship and best practice sharing

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing commercial and/or personal lines accounts

  • Active Property & Casualty license

  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products (GL, WC, Auto, Cyber, Umbrella, etc.)

  • Familiarity with personal lines coverages and markets

  • Proficient in agency systems such as Vertafore/AMS360 and CRM tools like AgencyZoom

  • Exceptional client service, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage a high volume of tasks with accuracy and independence
