The RoleThe Senior Account Manager will serve as the primary contact for a designated book of business, ensuring timely, accurate policy servicing and exceptional client experience. From day-to-day service requests to complex renewals and coverage recommendations, you’ll handle all aspects of client relationship management. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and working closely with producers to retain and grow accounts. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a high-efficiency setting and takes pride in delivering top-tier service.
ResponsibilitiesManage all servicing needs for a mixed portfolio of commercial and personal lines clients
Build and maintain strong, proactive client relationships through timely communication and support
Handle service tasks such as COIs, endorsements, billing inquiries, and claims follow-up
Lead the renewal process, including exposure gathering, marketing to carriers (when thresholds are met), and negotiating terms
Advise clients on coverage gaps, renewal options, and risk management strategies
Ensure accurate and timely policy issuance, renewals, and documentation within agency systems
Collaborate with producers to identify cross-sell opportunities and support client growth
Maintain compliance with agency standards, carrier guidelines, and documentation procedures
Support the development of junior team members through mentorship and best practice sharing
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing commercial and/or personal lines accounts
Active Property & Casualty license
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products (GL, WC, Auto, Cyber, Umbrella, etc.)
Familiarity with personal lines coverages and markets
Proficient in agency systems such as Vertafore/AMS360 and CRM tools like AgencyZoom
Exceptional client service, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage a high volume of tasks with accuracy and independence
Nice to Have
Experience mentoring or training junior team members
