As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment within a bustling retail and mall location. You will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and provide support to tenants, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:30 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:30 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:30 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:30 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity within the location to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required, and helping to maintain order within the location. Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and emergency responders as needed. Support a welcoming environment for shoppers and tenants by providing assistance and/or directions when requested. Possession of a state-issued Guard Card or security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
