Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 07:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals and/or vehicles in accordance with site requirements. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols. Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment. Assist visitors and employees with access control procedures, providing information and direction as needed. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. A valid security guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
