Job Description

As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Sparrows Point, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic retail distribution setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. You will be a reliable presence, responding to situations with professionalism and clear communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures. Support emergency response efforts as directed by Allied Universal and site management. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
